A LETTER OF CONFESSION TO A STRANGER
Dear Reader,
Neither a long drive, nor hanging out with an old mate could compensate a profound conversation with a stranger. You might be wondering, why a stranger? because the people we love are important to us, and no matter what you say or believe, insecurities that are embedded in our psyche have a direct impact on our relationships. As there are times when we don't feel loved. The essence of longevity fades away and the future becomes uncertain.
So, maybe in such times, we don't need our loved ones because sometimes we need to address our emotions to a stranger. And aren't we all strangers to ourselves? Pretentious creatures acting as if we're woke. Miles away from self-awareness, heading towards an unknown road.
Well, who we really are is a mystery, not only for you and me but for everyone around us. Thinking about it too much may just exploit your peace of mind because self-discovery is a process not a sudden realization. So, to set yourself free from trivial suffering just learn to express.
Write a poem, sing a song, dance till you sweat, paint the world like you wish, water some plants, cook something you never tried and just find anything that sooths you down. The key is to express (to live) without the fear of judgement because at the end of the day, we care the most about our actions and to be more blunt, it doesn't matter how good or bad your art or expression is. Contentment in the process of making something when you feel vulnerable heals your tormented soul.
So the next time when you feel low. Make some art, bring something to life by true expression of your feelings and trust me, Art does saves lives!
